I'm bringing my 12 week old puppy to Texas with me for Winter holiday. The dimensions for the carrying case are 17 x 16 x 10. I was wondering if Scupper has to be able to stand up in the case or not? He's roughly 11 inches tall, so he would have to lay down for the trip. Is this allowed or will they not allow him to be on the plane?
I'd try going to a pet store and trying the case out.

I would think it would be okay. If anything, they'll be more concerned with the size of the bag. As long as your bag will be able to fit under your seat, that's all that should matter. To be on the safe side, I'd definitely check with your airline.
