A friend of mine's dog went missing. 2 weeks have passed and the dog is still gone. Are there dog businesses that specializes in finding dogs? And have any of you used one successfully?

Answers to this question:

If the dog had a Rabies tag, ID tag on collar or microchip that had been implanted..that is probably the best bet at getting the dog back.

Call around to local shelters and The bad news is, that if the dog does not have a valid license, in many areas, shelters will only keep the dog for 3 days before it can be euthanized if it is deemed unadoptable for any reason. I sincerely hope this has not happened to your friend's dog!

oops...something got cut off on my post...that was supposed to say "Call around to local shelters and veterinary clinics...most of them keep a list of recently lost/found pets."
